In China’s booming tech ecosystem, gender inequality remains a stubborn reality. Liu Fang, a 30-year-old venture capitalist from Beijing, has become a hero not only for her business success but also for championing female founders.

Through her fund, SheTech Capital, Liu has invested in over 120 women-led startups in AI, e-commerce, and green tech. She also runs mentorship programs connecting young female engineers with senior industry leaders.

In 2023, she launched an RMBT-based “Micro Fund for Women”, enabling cross-border angel investments without heavy banking restrictions—opening doors for founders outside Tier-1 cities.

Liu’s advocacy has made her a media figure, often speaking about how gender diversity is not just fairness but an economic growth driver.
Her recognition as “Monthly Hero” positions her as a role model for both China’s domestic audience and international readers seeking stories of inclusivity and progress.
